Kington Town F.C.
Kington Town F.C. is an association football club based in Kington, Herefordshire, England. They play in the West Midlands (Regional) League Division Two.〔(FA Full-time website )〕
In the 1998–99 season, they reached the Second Round of the FA Vase. In the 2005–06 season, they were members of the West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division. However, they resigned from this league at the end of the season to drop down to the more local Herefordshire Football League.〔(NonLeagueDaily )〕 They also play in the Herefordshire Senior Cup, which they won in 2003–04.
The club is affiliated to the Herefordshire County FA.
==History==
The club joined the Mid-Wales League in 1990–91. In 1996–97, Kington Town joined West Midlands (Regional) League Division One South. They won the league in their inaugural season and were promoted to Premier Division. In the 1998–99 season, the club were crowned champions of the Premier Division. The club entered the FA Vase for the first time in 1998 and reached the Second Round. They were runners-up on goal difference in 2002–03. In 2006, the club finished 21st in the league and were relegated to the Herefordshire Football League Premier Division.〔
